Tripadvisor, hotels.com, Hotwire, Priceline…..finally, Mommy brained advice! While I appreciate some of the mainstream reviews, they don’t cover things I think about. My checklist for a hotel: cheap, three stars, free breakfast, pool, and if possible wall between the beds and couch area.
This place was a flavor explosion in my mouth! The cheese curds were a gooey testament to the state’s greatest product. I could have just eaten those. I also ordered the House Old Fashioned burger. The egg on top was cooked to perfection. The perfection of the gooey flavors is impossible to describe. If I am ever in Madison again, I would try to swing in here. The restaurant is around the square in Madison, not Madison Square. Thank you, Wisconsin, for your dedication to dairy.
I will start out by saying if you order the non-greek food (excluding pizza) on the menu, you will probably want to go elsewhere. In fact you will want to go anywhere else, run away. The real gem of the restauant is the Gyro Pizza. Now, I love pizza and its cheezy goodness. I love warm pitas and meat piled high with tomatoes, gyro meat, feta, and onions. Blending the two together is sheer genius! When our family goes, we throw down and get the largest size which looks like a manhole cover. You will not leave hungry my friend.
This is some of the best barbeque we have eaten. My husband eats, breathes, and sleeps barbeque. He had ribs bought from Kentucky to Florida for our rehearsal dinner. To say he likes barbeque is an understatement. This is one of three barbeque places he really enjoys eating. The staff is really friendly and helpful. I personally enjoy the fried dill pickles, and the sweet potato fries are quite sublime. You can wash all that down with a nice cup of sweet tea.
I enjoy the imaginative sushi menu here. I had a roll that had tiny speckles of wasabi crunchies on top. I also enjoy the true Asian feel it had despite being a fusion restaurant. The decor was modern and the restaurant is quaint with its tiny front room and covered porch in back. It is also by the beach.

Aurora, CO 80011 Phone number (303) 371-0700We either hotwired or pricelined this hotel for $50. Ohhhhh man! If you ever get a chance to stay in a Hyatt Place, do it! The gourmet complimentary breakfast is worth it. The room had a couch and television and separate area with a amazingly big and comfortable bed.
