Parting is such sweet sorrow

Right now we are on our Goodbye tour across a fourth of the US. Missouri, check, Kentucky, check, next stop Georgia and Florida.

I don’t handle goodbyes well, so visiting people just to say goodbye is not my favorite.

It is easier on me than my husband though. I grew up moving around and am fairly accustomed to saying goodbye for years at a time. My husband, on the other hand, has been around the same two areas his whole life.

What awaits us as we leave our families to venture into the vast unknown, I don’t know. I do know that this is where God wants us. So as we say Goodbye to friends and loved ones, we do so with a Purpose in our hearts.
